Do what they say when they say at a reasonable price, bought chlorinator far cheaper than any mainstream pool shop and had 12 year old Hurlcon pump refurbished at a fraction of cost of replacement, happy with results. Most pool shops I have been to only seem interested in telling you that it is not worth repairing anything you might bring them ie pool cleaners, pool pumps and they are too quick to try and sell you the latest and greatest at some ridiculous cost, I took my pool cleaner to a main stream pool shop and was told that there is no way it could repaired price for a new one $1000 plus... I took the cleaner home and repaired it myself, a year later it is still working, don't believe it when you are told it can not be repaired - nice to see a company like Aquamech repairing older pumps and other pool equipment to a high standard.
